Our database includes over 6000 production boats from the past century, so chances are good we've got your data on file. And if you are sailing a one-off custom design, we can get started with just your boat's overall length (LOA).

2. Zap recommends lines

Based on you boat's rig type, dimensions, and whether it's usually raced or cruised, we give you some common sense starting points for the lines you need. For one-design classes, we can make more specific recommendations that have worked for other owners in the past.

In all cases, we advise you to confirm the measurements for yourself by measuring the part of your boat or rigging you're replacing. Our site works great on your mobile phone so you can take measurements next time you're on board.

3. Customize to your liking

Whether you just want to choose the line color or want to dig deep into the stretch and handling characteristics of each rope material we offer, you are in control. 

4. Zap builds each line with care

We build each halyard, sheet, or whatever it is you need on demand to ensure you get exactly what you want. Our skilled riggers know how to splice and finish your lines so they are as strong as can be and look and feel great in your crew's hands.
